Have been writing poetry for 7 years (not much recently) and been cosplaying for around 3 years. What a wonderful time it has been! Brilliant people, still learning so much and have finally found an outlet where I can be as over dramatically geeky and derpishly invested as I wish. May the little yellow boxes be with you!

broken mid thought - collapsed into a colliding mess of carefully collected whims and rationalities. impossibilities. halted truths.
for long sought whims and wantings. validations. petty but true, petty but persistent. so petty and young.
shallow yet so deeply carved into the woodwork of will.
of knowing; painful knowing. unsought tap tap tapping fiddling fingers so fickle in their distractions, hiding an exposed and nerved vein to the open air.

I found myself in a wind-swept field
After all this time.
Years and summers and long hard treks,
I knew I would never give up.
And I never gave up after all this time.
Though my people were cared for,
The world back in balance,
The lands all rejoicing;
I could not let you go after all this time.
I scoured the world for you without a whisper,
He had hidden you well.
Payed a fortune over and over and over again;
Sold the gold off my head more than once.
Set the hounds and the Shirshu's and all that I could on your trail.

Stumbled across your picture of the Gilderoy Lockhart cosplay whilst trying to find somewhere that sells his quilted vest type thing (I don't want it for cosplay, I just want something like that to wear everyday!). Thought you might have some knowledge or in-progress shots if you made it yourself (looks very well made!)

I have a big question, it might sound weird but…Do you have any behind pics of your adult Zuko cosplay? I can't find any reference of the double swords keeper and i'm slowly loosing my mind.
I'm currently making and adult Zuko sculpture, that's why i need the refs

Thankyou very much, I'm really proud of my adult Zuko.
Not a weird question at all, completely understandable. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of my Zuko from the back, i'll be sure to get one next time i wear it.
Do you mean the duel blades he wears across the small of his back or the two separate blades he has crossing over on his back from shoulders to waist?
If you're needing a reference for how the Scabbards look I recommend chucking on an episode where Zuko uses them and screencapping it at a good moment.

If you're meaning more how they attach and look from the back, i fond this pretty difficult because cartoon logic. The two separate blades are worn across each shoulder crossing over his front via a string (you can see them across his front here shadowbuuproductions.deviantar…). I kept them positioned nicely by tying each of the strings together at the back.
The duel blades scabbard is harder and if you're sculpting i suggest cartoon logic of them just seamlessly attaching to the back of his thick gold and brown belts (I achieved the look by having a thin belt attached to the back of the scabbard and hiding it under my thick brown belt.
